5 Disney Inspired Bedroom Themes for Boys

By Jo Philipp

Disney inspired bedroom themes are a great way to engage your child with colour as well as create a wonderful looking room in your home.

When you say the word “Disney,” it often means so many different things to people.  Some will think about their own childhood and the first Disney created film they saw, while many will look at their own children and think about what they enjoy watching and their favourite themes.

Many parents won’t explore Disney inspired bedroom themes until their child is of an age where they can tell you what they like.  A themed room filled with a favourite character from birth might not work if when your child is three they decide that they don’t like what’s on their wall, instead preferring the character they’ve seen in a comic, book, or on television instead.

Here are five Disney inspired bedroom themes for boys you could think about.

Cars

If you’re shopping for your child’s bedroom, then Disney Cars bedroom décor ideas are likely to come into your thinking very early on in the process.  While Cars could well be passed off as a neutral theme, there probably aren’t that many girls who would want to sleep in a Lightning McQueen bed!

Top 5 Disney Themes for Shared Bedrooms

If you have twins of a different sex or a boy and a girl of any age that need to share a bedroom, decorating can be an even bigger headache than when they start to bicker over who has the best toys and who loves Mummy and Daddy more.  However, you don’t need to decide to go for a neutral bedroom colour just to keep the peace.  Your children can still have a fun themed bedroom like all their friends do, you just need to be clever with how you do it.

Don’t worry, we’re not about to suggest you decorate your nursery as 50% Disney Princess and 50% Ultimate Spiderman.  Instead, you simply need to shop around for the Disney bedroom ideas that fit brilliantly for both boys and for girls at the same time.

Here are Kids Wall Stickers’ top five suggestions.

Mickey Mouse Clubhouse

If you’re preparing for new arrivals or need to redecorate because you have a second child on the way and another who is very young, then Mickey Mouse Clubhouse is a great way to go.  Mickey Mouse is not only the most famous Disney character of all, but his face can be found on every piece of furniture and décor you could ever wish to have in your room.
